James R. Shives, PE

Vice President of Administration

Mr. Shives oversees all of the administrative functions of the company including accounting, information systems, and facilities management.

His responsibility is to keep the internal functions of the firm operating efficiently to support everyday business activities. Mr. Shives has extensive experience managing multiple departments and disciplines to achieve a common goal. He has been with the firm for over 20 years and has worked in many positions and departments throughout the firm. Mr. Shives understands our customer's demand for successful projects. He manages a critical support structure that enables the firm to execute several projects simultaneously.

Mr. Shives has years of experience in many areas that the firm serves including telecommunications, site development, and transportation. He earned his master's and bachelor's degrees from The University of Akron and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Concrete Institute.
