Retail / Commercial Practice Leader

Becky McAdams leads the Retail / Commercial Practice with expertise in interior space design and project management. She currently leads a team of architects, designers, and engineers and is responsible for planning and zoning approvals, concept and prototype design, documentation, coordination, permitting, and construction management. In her years with GPD she has overseen many different types of projects, including new development, tenant improvement, remodeling, and prototype development and maintenance.

In addition, Becky participates in GPD Group’s sustainability team and heads up initiatives to further educate GPD’s staff and clients about sustainable design that reduces energy costs and improves the environment. As part of that initiative Becky oversaw the design and LEED documentation of over 15 LEED projects.

Becky earned her degree in Interior Design from Kent State University and is currently a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Retail Institute of Design, National Council of Interior Designers, and the USGBC.
